First Event of 2008

February 4th, 2008

chase-pic.JPGWell yesterday, Sunday 3rd February saw my first event of 2008, I competed in the Chase Duathlon race series, held in Cannock Chase this event is one of a series of 3 to be held over the next couple of months, each time the distances increase but follow the same format of an off road run, road cycle, off road run.

I had a great day and really enjoyed the race coming home in 1 hour 29 minutes, the weather was freezing and very windy on the bike, we were up at 4am to make the journey, although we were the first one’s there it had the advantage of making sure we were the first to use the portaloos!! Photos will appear on the website gallery soon, meanwhile keep checking for event updates and results from all the Tri-Harder athletes, the season is off to a great start and I know several people competing over the next few weeks so I will keep everyone updates with their news.
