Often the discipline missed, in triathlon it is referred to as the “fourth” discipline, trust me the easiest to mess up without you even noticing it creeping up..
How many of you train and train committed and focused, yet every week when weigh day comes the numbers remain the same, weight, body fat and all of it, chances are it is that “other” discipline which is letting you down.

Don’t confuse my gospel with a holier than thou existence, on the contrary I have done it all, partied with the best of them, and hey I still do, the difference now is I have the balance about right, I am still experimenting all the time and you will benefit from that, an example is when I competed in the 2007 Lanzarote iron man I had single digit body fat and a BMI (which I don’t believe in) under 20!! Yet if you are opening a decent bottle of red you will find me with my glass to the ready.

My approach is sustainable balance, no fads, no gimmicks, not easy all the time but once you adapt my approach as a way of life, it’s easy and we’ll meet at
the bar or on the dance floor!
